A Little Help From Our Friends

One of the scariest things about moving for us was not knowing who or what our community was going to look like. We had such an incredible community of friends back in the hill country and we were moving to a town where we knew no one. But time and time again, God comes through and places us in community. Just like He did in Wimberley, just like He did in college. It’s almost like he knows just what we need or something?

Immediately upon moving to Lindale we got connected with a community group that we love through our church and have made really sweet friendships. Already these people have come alongside us and cared for us so well. They’ve brought many meals to us, prayed for us, checked in with us and most recently: farmed with us! Which if you know Grant- that’s his love language lol

This past Sunday our whole community group showed up to the farm with gloves & ready to work! The guys helped Grant uncover the field from frost blanket and pound t-posts for trellising sweet peas. And the girls (and babies) emptied tulip crates and planted lily bulbs. It was honestly so much fun and made us feel so so loved. Just had to give this crew a little shoutout- we are so thankful!
