GRANT WINKELMANN
Grant is the farmer & he’s more obsessed with plants than anyone I know. One conversation with him and you’ll probably agree.
Grant graduated from Texas A&M in 2017 with a degree in Agricultural Economics and minor in Soil Science.
He can often be spotted around the farm at midnight with a headlight on and dirt runs deep through his calloused hands. He’s passionate about finding and cultivating unique varieties and can easily get bored growing the same thing. He spends hours and hours researching varieties even to the point of translating websites from other languages.
He is the head of the operation at Winkelmann Flowers (aka, he does it all) and together we’ve got BIG plans for the farm.
CARRINGTON WINKELMANN
I’m a wife, mom, florist and follower of Jesus. I’m inspired by creation, color, the seasons and people.
I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism and a minor in Horticulture.
I love a home-cooked meal, a good latte, thrifting, whisky sours, all things Italy and slow mornings. My most favorite thing is being a mom.
For 8 years, I flowered wedding across Texas. While my full-service wedding days are on pause, I still consider myself a florist and still find ways to design. While I’ve been raising and growing babies, I’m not often out in the fields, but I take care of a lot of the backend operations— website, shipping, packing flowers, social media, etc.
