Spring is Around the Corner

Hang on Tight, We’re Almost Back

We're almost back to slinging flowers every week and we are antsy to start cutting & delivering again! Although it has been pretty cold around here and may not look like it with the pictures of covered plants, spring flowers are just around the corner. Somehow we’ve ended up with just cold temps and no snow in our neck of the woods and have been jealous of those around us having snow days! Pro parenting tip: don’t tell your toddler that there might be snow, because they will be disappointed when there is in fact, no snow lol. The upside is that we haven’t had to worry about the weight of ice or snow on our greenhouses— so that’s one less thing to worry about.

We’ve been cutting small amounts that we’ve been able to sell locally or just enjoy in our house, but very soon we will have flowers in abundance.

First on deck will be tulips, ranunculus, butterfly ranunculus, anemones, and poppies! We expect to have some red tulips available (variety Primavista) in the next week so send us an email or DM on Instagram if you want some of those shipped to your door. (We will resume our Austin/DFW routes soon but until then, we can get you some of our early blooms via shipping).

Looking Ahead to Valentine's Day

Tulip season should begin in earnest for Valentine's and continue through the first week of April. We will have some ranunculus and poppies available for V-Day as well, but volumes will really pick up the week after and hopefully continue until mid-April.  We plan to sell a limited amount of pre-made, retail bouquets locally and for Austin/DFW pickup so be on the lookout for those offerings as Valentine’s Day approaches!

Coming Up for Spring

April will bring on spike season, with an abundance of snapdragons, delphinium, foxglove, campanula, sweet peas, and so much more! Someday we will get our act together and provide a slick ordering guide to help plan out how you can use our flowers, but for now please use our Instagram as a guide or send us an email and we'd be happy to help give you an idea of what we will have available when.

We look forward to reconnecting with all of you in Austin, DFW, and beyond very soon and can't wait for our most abundant season of flowers yet. Oh, and we are on baby watch around here. Come on, little one!
