Farming is an Emotional Roller Coaster

Happy Monday and hope everyone spent a restful Easter weekend with family. We arrived back at the farm from visiting family to an explosion of April flowers in our fields and high tunnels. Farming can be such an emotional roller coaster; two weeks ago I was feeling pretty down about the state of our production because of the storm we experienced and the overall weediness of many of our rows in the field. We have been very fortunate to find some more help in the last two weeks and it has made a world of difference. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that their help has saved many beds of flowers that were on the verge of being a loss due to weeds. All of this is as much to your benefit as ours because it means we have so many fun flowers to share with y'all this week!

This week on inventory, we have an absolute rainbow on tap. Check out snaps in every color, fragrant vining sweet peas including the elusive King's Ransom, bearded iris from our new patch, light and airy chinese delphinium, super bloomy campanula, peachy foxglove, and so much more!
